Robert F. Williams, PE, PMP, LEED® AP

Mr. Williams formed Advisors, LLC in 2000 as a boutique firm dedicated to providing unparalleled “hands-on” development, project and construction management services to commercial real estate owners, developers and asset managers. 

Mr. Williams has over 30+ years of experience in commercial development, project and construction management.  He has managed or consulted on ground up development, redevelopment, and renovation projects in excess of $500M across multiple asset classes including multi-family, retail, office and mixed use.  On behalf of developers and owners, he has advised and participated in the negotiation of development agreements, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, memorandums of understanding, easements, maintenance agreements, construction loan documents, and architectural and construction contracts on multiple complex projects.  On behalf of landlords, he has participated in the negotiation of leases with an aggregate value of more than $1B.  He has presented before multiple planning boards/commissions, architectural/historic review boards, and neighborhood/community organizations. Mr. Williams past and current clients include Jamestown Premier, Morguard, Giant Food, Faison, Chevy Chase Land Companies, Premier Bank, Combined Properties, Graham Gund, and Brandolini Companies.

Before co-founding Advisors, LLC, he held executive management positions at Combined Properties, Inc. and First Washington Realty Trust.  In these positions, he was responsible for managing the development, construction, and renovation of some of the region’s most well-known neighborhood shopping centers, and for negotiating leases and project financing on multi-million dollar projects.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Williams worked as a design civil engineer on multiple residential and commercial projects.

Licensed as a Professional Engineer, Mr. Williams is a member of the Urban Land Institute and U.S. Green Building Council.  Mr. Williams is also registered as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a LEED® Accredited Professional.

Mr. Williams earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and a MBA in Real Estate Development from George Washington University.  An Eagle Scout and former captain in the United States Army, Mr. Williams is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor society for collegiate business schools.
